I’ve been meaning to start this blog for a while, and with just weeks to go until London Fashion Week, it feels like the right time. This is where I’ll be documenting the run-up to my debut with House of iKons on 19th September with my collection, The Rebel Equinox: Cult of the Bloom. Expect the drama, the chaos, the late nights, and everything in between. This is a dream I’ve had since I left uni in 2022, and I’ve worked hard for it. Thank you to everyone who’s supported me along the way, you’ve helped make it real too.
About Me
For anyone new here: I’m an alternative, inclusive designer creating gothic-punk-meets-elegant couture from Liverpool, built on a strong upcycling practice. I hold a BA in Fashion and Textiles.
How This Came Together
My most recent show, and my first ever show in London, was with @ldnfashion_bikersrunway, and it was that opportunity that led to House of iKons inviting me to show at London Fashion Week. It’s all happened really fast: most designers get six months to a year to prepare a collection for a show like this. I’ve had a fraction of that.
My LFW show is in collaboration with @lv_teddygram, and I’m dressing the Teddys as part of the collection, with @mrkellyking_official on the music, and showing with House of iKons Fashion Week London. I’m also bringing my own models and photographers from Creative Connections with me, because whenever I get an opportunity, I make sure the community I’ve built gets a shot too.
The Collection
Most of the collection is upcycled, some pieces reworked for the third time, alongside other upcycled fabrics and finds, with a few new pieces mixed in too.
