On 18 October 2026 Creative Connections took over Stanley Park in Liverpool for a gothic Halloween TFP shoot. One brief, played straight: gothic and horror. Eleven of us in front of the camera (both make-up artists modelled too), five photographers, and a lot of fake blood.
I organised the day, designed and styled several of the looks and modelled one of them myself. Like every Creative Connections shoot, it was time for prints: everyone gives their time, and everyone takes home the images and content.
Vampire Fest
My favourite video from the whole day.
The Photos
The photos in this section are by Leon Britton. Photos from the other four photographers are further down.
Me, in my vampire queen look
The green gown is the £5 Vinted dress I upcycled into a vampire queen look. See how I made it in my £5 Vinted upcycle post.

Lacie
This was Lacie’s first time modelling, and she absolutely owned it. I styled her look.

More From the Day
Leon wasn’t the only photographer in the park. A few favourites from everyone else who shot the day.
